It looks like Spring is very close to being here which means more outdoor photography, lots of baseball, soccer, softball, golf, track and tennis. Proms and weddings start to pick up in March, April and May. We at Ezell’s look forward to these events every year. We are planning for several new sets for our seniors that we will be photographing this summer which is a great thrill for me. Speaking of seniors, it's about time we start talking to prospective “Ezell’s Girls”. We will hire 12-15 girls from the Classes of 2009 and 2010. Watch our website for more details in the next 2-3 weeks.
We have just announced the winner of Ezell’s 1st Top Model competition. This has been a dream of mine for quite a while. We had a great group of girls and I believe they had a lot of fun. Jada Fambrough, a senior at Heritage High School is the winner and we couldn’t be more proud of her. Peyton Farrish, a sophomore, also at Heritage and Holly Oakes, an Alcovy High School junior were the 2nd and 3rd place winners. We are very proud to be associated with each of these girls. This might give you an idea what your competition will look like next year. I am happy to say this will be an annual event. We are already thinking about how we can make it bigger and better. From this contest we raised $350 and lots of food for Rockdale Emergency Relief. We are very excited about this donation growing as well.
Last but not least; 7 weeks from now is a very special day of the year for all of us. For some it is a sad day and for you I am very sorry. If it had not been for this special person, none of us would be here. Mother's Day! My mom just turned 80 and one of the things she cherishes most is pictures of her boys (my brother and I). I feel very confident saying your mother or grandmother feels the same. I also hear all the time that it has been 10 years or more since someone had a family portrait taken. I hope you will consider coming to see us for something special for the young moms, older moms and grandmothers for Mother’s Day. Below you will see the special we are offering from now until May 22nd. We will be at the Cherry Blossom Festival on March 28th and 29th. Be sure to stop by to say hello and sign up for our drawing.
As always, thank you for allowing Ezell’s to be your personal photography studio.
Sincerely,
|
