Rule of Thirds Bring your picture to life simply by placing your subject off center. Imagine a tic-tac-toe grid in your viewfinder. Now place your subject at one of the intersections of lines. Since most cameras focus on whatever is in the middle, remember to lock the focus on your subject before reframing the shot.

Football season is half over, all underclass pictures have been taken,
fall sports and rec leagues are finished as well. The weather is
turning a little cooler and very soon the leaves will be turning and
that is a great time to take pictures. I love it.
Now would be a great time of the year to spend about 45 minutes with
your family making special memories and having great pictures taken.
After you have enjoyed the time with your family you may want to share
those special pictures with Mom or Grandma. Can you think of a more
cherished gift for Christmas? I don't think she would really rather
have a scarf - do you? When was the last time you had your family's
portrait taken? We just photographed many high school seniors and a
lot of them will be moving out in just a few months. It's a perfect
time to stop putting it off.
Beverly Bowman at Costley Mill has been kind to us once again and is
allowing us to go to one of the most picturesque locations in the area
for family photo sessions. We have very limited appointment times
available so please call soon to schedule yours. We will be there
November 6th and 7th. If you would rather see the Christmas
decorations of Olde Town Conyers in your family portraits, call to
schedule these November 13th and 14th. Of course you can come to the
studio any time. Just give us a call or
Another thing I want to tell you about is our Ezell's Top
Model 2010. We had a great response, took some beautiful pictures and
had fun when we first did this last year. Any female age 15-22 can
participate. Casting call is November 20-24 and it only costs $15 and
2 cans of food. The food and 1/2 the entry fee will be donated to
Rockdale Emergency Relief. The top 60 entries will be photographed
December 18-22 with the winners announced on January 12th. We are
introducing a People's Choice winner this time determined by online
voting. If you or someone you know is interested,
click here for more details. Several of our contestants from ETM
2009 have gone on to actual modeling jobs. We have had several
inquiries into a Ezell's Top Male Model contest. By November 1st we
want to hear from anyone interested. We will determine from that
response if we want to move forward with that. Email
info@ezellsstudios.com if
you or someone you know is interested.
I
would like to thank you for choosing Ezell's Studios as your
photography studio. We receive so many positive comments, a number of
thank you's and cards expressing your appreciation. I want you to know
I am blessed to do what I enjoy doing for a living and in a community
that appreciates us for what we do.
Thank you for giving me that opportunity.

Lindsay Murray This is the second time one of our former Ezell's Girls has returned to us. Lindsay worked with us the summer of 2005 then spent the next 4 years at the University of West Georgia. She graduated in May with a degree in mass communications with a concentration in sports journalism. Her minor is in sociology. We are very fortunate to have her working with us until ESPN comes calling. Lindsay has a smile that lights up a room and genuinely loves working with people. She discovered a special place for the elderly while working with the members at Conyers Presbyterian Church recently. Lindsay has jumped right in where she left off 4 years ago and happily does everything from answering the phones, making appointments, assisting at dances to updating our Facebook. Lindsay says her favorite thing about working at Ezell's is "being surrounded by great people every day and coming back to the community and schools where I grew up". We can't wait to see her reporting on national television one day and feel blessed to have her at Ezell's Studios until that happens. |
