Lock the Focus

Lock the focus to create a sharp picture of off-center subjects. Center the subject you want in focus, press the shutter button half way down. Reframe your picture while still holding the shutter button. Finish by pressing the shutter button all the way.

 

Example: We focused the ring, not the face.

High school seniors have been photographed.  Football players, cheerleaders, band, softball, volleyball and cross country teams have been photographed.  Underclass picture days are going on weekly. Weddings are starting to pick up again this month and football season is here.  For me this is the best time of the year for action pictures. If you haven’t been to a football game in Rockdale or Newton County in the last few years, this would be a great year to do so.  All the fields have been upgraded or built in the last 2 years.

 

Meeting new friends, seeing old friends, cool fall air, the smell of hamburgers, hotdogs and popcorn, good action on the field, cheerleaders cheering, great marching bands, hundreds and hundreds of cheering fans.  This is what you will miss if you stay home on Friday nights. (I know Darrell Huckaby says it better!)

 

Now back to Ezell’s Studios... I have to say we had the best Ezell’s Girls staff this summer that we have ever had. That does not take away from previous years but this year everyone clicked and it made for a great summer.  Some people would call working with our staff as heaven – others might call it something else. I say God blessed me tremendously with all our staff, customers, and the work that I get to do daily.

 

I am very excited to announce a new event which I think a lot of moms and grandmas will love. It is Ezell’s Top Baby contest. Get ready to show off your precious little one and at the same time have your friends help them win the contest through online voting. We have come up with great prizes and very much look forward to this new venture. Check out this link for more information about getting your little cutie signed up.

 

We are also in the process of setting up new backgrounds for fantastic fall portraits for all ages. Keep watching our website for details.

Haley Shubert

Can you say "Ultimate Ezell Girl"? That is what you can call Haley Shubert. She is a 2009 Heritage High School graduate. She has been a cheerleader as long as she has been in school, and a good one I might add! She has that "can do" attitude with a smile which is hard to come by now. Haley will be attending UGA in January, but is currently a student at Georgia Perimeter College, as she continues to work with Ezell's. Because of Haley's attitude, work ethic and love of people, we hope she will still be with us next summer.
